Please can anyone help? I am looking for a family by the name of Gayre who travelled from Cornwall in the 1500s to Scotland. Some members of this family travelled as far as Heckmondwike in Yorkshire and remained there. I have traced as far back as James Gairnes b 1610 Angus but I have info.that they came from Cornwall originally. Jan Gairns
