Does anyone know where to look for information about a military funeral, a great uncle of mine, Herbert Frederick Wood had one I'm lead to believe but cannot find out anything about it. I believe it took place in 1948 in Surrey.
Any help will be gratefully recieved

The death cert wont tell you the funeral arrangement's but as this seem to be connected to your other thread about his son , then would seem Herbert senior was a time served soldier

I would try the records of the Regiment Herbert was connected with.

Most Regiments/Corps have an Archive so if you 'Google' you should find who to contact and they can then point you in the right direction.

Good luck
