Somehow those words don't look like "sick visitor" to me.

My 3xG Uncle was James Riley his name mistranscibed as Kiley.

Shown as a 'Sick Visitor'. I found one of my 3x Great Uncle's described exactly as that in the 1861 Census, along with another 'Sick Visitor' [ the Local Policeman] were at The Hare and Hounds Inn. While his wife with 4 children and a 7 month old baby were at home, down the Road.
I had a real chuckle, I thought a sick visitor a polite way of saying he was Drunk rather tactful. ;-) :-D
