Can someone please tell me how I list myself ie Name. I was registered under one surname at Birth ie O***** The Adopted by my own Mother and new Husband now with surname of ie D** Then nearly 20 years later found my Canadian Father and changed my name by Deed Poll to his. So on a Family Tree all names are one way or another inportant but how do I show who I am and have been in the past? Seems not to be Possible, so could an expert please help. |

I would record yourself with your birth name and then put "also known as D*****" in the notes section or if you mean on the Genes Tree I think there is a section called "known as". |

But you're going by the name O*** now, on this site anyway. Thought you said you changed it to D***. |
