Finding an address

Trying to find how long a person lived at an address, who died in 1965

If of voting age the electoral register will show the persons name at the address. If they died in 1965 then it is a case of examining the ER for the years prior to 1965. Copies of old ER's are usually available at the main public library or archive office in the district that the ER covered.

Generally speaking ER's for that period are not available online.

He died in norfolk age 74, do you know of an address to contact as i live in North of England.

Do you actually know the address? If not you need the death cert.
If you google 'norfolk archives' you should find where electoral registers are kept.

I can only suggest that you Google something along the lines of "Public library+townname+norfolk"

Some library staff will do look ups, some won't. Some libraries make a charge for doing look ups others don't.
