Thanks Andy, my ancestor left Ireland 1859 so later census no good.

Sadly only the Irish 1901 and 1911 census records survive. All the rest were either accidently or deliberatly destroyed.

Can someone please tell me which Irish site they would think would be best to join, to have a lookup for the 1841 & 1851 Census
