- could these both be references to that phrase from Job "For I know that my redeemer liveth"? (or the hymn based on the line?)

The translation of the gravestone is as follows, and the best I can do.

In loving (or affectionate) memory of John Lloyd, Bryntirion, Halkyn. Dear husband of Ann Lloyd.
He who died 4th 1902, 63 years old.
Because I know who I believed in.
Also Ann Lloyd who died April 16th 1908, 69 years old.
I know that my redeemer liveth.

The word "Corphency" doesn't make any sense to me, but may have been an old Welsh term. It is actually placed where the month of death should be.

sorry for not replying sooner. I am unable to visit the grave at the moment as I am in Lincolnshire and the grave is in Halkyn Flintshire. When I am able to get there I will do as you suggested, Kuros. The inscription was from my father's notes, who again couldn't speak welsh. There are a few Anns and Annies in the Lloyd family, as other names occur in families.

Freebmd shows the one in the probate calendar as Annie, rather than Ann.

Also the above Ann LLoyd who died 16.4.1908 aged 69. Forever (?) in our lives/ thoughts.

Some of the words may not be readable properly as the headstone is old
