I've been wondering for a while whether anyone would mention this! I've contacted GR a couple of times about the wrong advice given on military research.

Yes, I think it's the same person, Maureen. I must say, I miss her, she made life interesting on the boards, frustrating but interesting. It's kind of boring here now.

Margee

I wonder if that is the same one I am thinking of as she certainly do not believe anything I and other members posted and took the word of AA as gospel. The 1901 details were completely wrong as we proved that the person was on 1891 as well as the members relative.

9 pm in England is 10 pm in Spain.
I´m just having my nightcap before retiring for the night.
Don´t think it´s worth stopping up for.

I, too, will give it a miss. I remember years ago a certain person on this site was given totally erroneous info by this person. I proved categorically that this info was wrong with parish records etc. She wouldn't accept it because the info was from a professional researcher.

in case you've missed seeing:

"Chat to an expert! Our resident genealogist, Anthony Adolph, is on call to help you with your family history in a live web chat. Log in on Tuesday the 15 of May at 9PM GMT to see if Anthony can help you."

Thought maybe it should be on this page :-D

Has anyone actually done so before and broken down a wall?
