It asks for the GRO ref later on and you just put the page nos 299 in the box

it also wants both names and put these as listed in the record

You have to state its an overseas marriage and the form adjusts for the GRO ref

I am trying to order a marriage certificate online and am stuck on what the GRO index number that I need to enter is! I have found the entry in the Army Returns Marriages 1936-1940; it's for a William A Christmas who married a Constantine Kelsall in 1940 (Jhansi, India). It says the entry is on page 299 but I cannot see any other reference numbers. I tried to order the certificate without entering the GRO number and it wouldn't let me proceed unless I could enter the exact date of marriage and I don't know this! I am probably being very thick, but if anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
