Probate lookup please

Thanks Jonesey - he was actually a master baker and confectioner! I do know his son carried on the business later. Possibly he signed everything over to him and never bothered making a will.

Nothing listed in the Probate calendar I'm afraid.

Looking at his entry in the 1891 census it looks as if he was a retired barber and confectioner at that time. It is conceivable therefore that by the time of his death some 7 years later that his estate was not sufficient to warrant probate.

I would be very grateful if someone could check this out for me please. My ancestor Thomas Bore was born 1824 and died in Kington Herefordshire in 1898. He owned his own business so I would have had something to leave I guess!
