Hi Choccy, please can you tell me where you found that as Ancestry only goes up to 1941 and I would like to look for people after this date.

Researching:
Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

My understanding is that if Letters of Administration are granted, there is no Will.

If Probate is granted, there is a Will.

Would assume there is no Will for Alice Pinner.

I stand to be corrected though !
