If you subscribe to Ancestry through the cashback website Quidco you get 25% discount.

It costs £5 per year to join Quidco but they take that out of your first cashback amount. You sometimes have to wait a couple of months for the cashback but it is well worth it. You can shop at loads of different places through Quidco and get different amounts of cashback.

It's worth having a look.

Most libraries have access to Ancestry, although you may have to book a computer.

The National Trust offer a 25% discount if you use their link

Many people buy the FamilyTreeMaker programme from Tesco, using their Club points - FTM icludes access to Ancestry for a certain number of months

Quidco offers 25% cash back

Don't forget the free resources available on the internet

And a host of others - just google for Parish Records or BMD for the area(s) you are interested in.
