Sending part of your tree??

Is it possible to send a part of your tree so someone else? I've been doing my sisters husbands tree for his 60th and now that I have finished - as it's still part of my tree how do I send it to her? Any suggestions please?

I exported a gedcom from here to Family Tree Builder, the free version.
You can print nice bits of tree off there.

Sorry, been to a meeting. To 'send' it using GR it would have to be by a gedcom which would mean that they would have to have a family tree program on their computer - unless you can try and print out the relevant bits from the GR tree and snailmail it. And I think that it would be your whole tree
You really need a PC based tree program. Download your tree by a gedcom, install it, select the data and produce the chart or report that you want. Familysearch.org have a free program, also (I believe) there is one called 'brotherskeeper' or similar that is also free and may be of use. Still means a printout and posting unless you can copy a report to Word, and email it.
Go on - tell me he turns 60 tomorrow!!

Here's hoping someome can come up with a better idea whilst we sleep.

I just followed grannyfranny's suggestion and it worked a treat, I can now post copies of part of my tree to my sister and cousin who are interested in their ancestors. Thank you grannyfranny, I have been looking for some time for a program that will do this, which produces charts that are legible and which doesn't require a degree in computing to learn! As regards sending charts by email, you can save your chart as a pdf and send that as an email attachment. Or you can upload your tree to the Family Tree Builder website and tell your relatives the link and they can view it online. Family Tree Builder really is an excellent piece of software.

Glad you've found it useful. I do struggle with some parts of Family Tree builder, due no doubt to lack of 'puter knowledge, but it does what I need it for.
