I have this set up on my Sky+ - set it up about 2 weeks ago.

Cannot wait

I do hope the chap doing this will produce a book

Will be reallyl interesting - have heard that the Deptford one is very good.

Know 3 of the six quite well - the South London ones
Have been down Caledonian Road
Have a good idea of Notting Hill (some family lived in the area)
But nothing about Shoreditch. Although I think that is the area where Petticoat Lane is, so might recognise some.

Love programmes like this, no matter what part of the country they are set in.

BBC 2 Wed 9pm............6 programmes.

Charles Booth’s vast 1886 Survey of London ranked each one of London's streets according to the class of its residents. In a major series for BBC Two, in partnership with The Open University, The Secret History Of Our Streets returns to six of those streets to discover how their fortunes have ebbed and flowed over the last 125 years.
