Hello guys
I'd like to find out about my great-grandfather ernest thompson (1899-1980). He was in WW1 & WW2 and i would like to know more about his military career, i.e. what regiment he was in, his regiment number, rank etc. Anything you can help me with i would be most grateful.

Born where ?

Thompson is a fairly common surname so anything else to help with this request
