I am looking to get a death cert from the gro of person who has past away . i am missing last place of residance and the day date of death of deasced . i have year would using possible district or county where this person died narrow down the search for gro .
Any suggestions

When did the death take place? Do you have the GRO reference for the death?

genes records states died in july 1990, westminister , london . i have his year of birth but not exact date

I don't use Genes records for research. Does it give volume number and page number?

This should be all you need to buy the death certificate (at least it is with earlier certificates). If you'd like to give the name I will look up the reference on Findmypast.

As the person is deceased then, unless its very private, there is no reason why you cant post the details on the thread. Others cant help without some info.

You don't need to know the DOD to order a death cert

And no need to use PM's when the person concerned is dead
