I was just wondering what are the most current death records you can find?

On FMP they go up to 2006. after then you would need to know where the death occurred and when, and apply at the local Records Office for the cert

Researching:
Surname Fahse. Germany. Essex .South East London My avatar is one of our wedding photos of 1957

You could try the following site for more recent events

It is not anticipated that any records after 2006 will be put on line at any stage in the foreseeable future
