they remain stubbornly lost on the 1861!

I've tried Gr*e, with and without forenames, plus birth year and place of birth (county only and with town)

I've tried forenames only, birth year and place of birth (as above)

I've tried no name birth year and place and tried searching the 1861 Census for Sutton St Mary ................... must admit I did not complete all the search!



There are several public family trees on ancestry ......... and none of them seem to have found the family in 1861.

I agree Sylvia, not a sign. There are several Ancestry trees with this family, some very detailed, but nobody has them 1861.

I agree that Lincolnshire has missing pieces, but Long Sutton, which is where they are in 1851 and 1871, is more than 40 miles from Wragby.
Long Sutton is on the borders with Norfolk (and Cambridgeshire).

I have looked and looked till the cows come home and cannot find them. I have tried Lancashire, Norfolk, Huntingdonshire and Cambridgeshire and the whole of Sutton St Mary - not there
