Dear Patron, FamilySearch.org is constantly being improved with new features and functions. Millions of new searchable records become available on a regular basis. Additional functionality and enhanced processes are part of a continuous cycle of improvement. We realize that some of the functions of the updated version of the system might not work in the same way as those of the older version. We encourage you, however, to be persistent in using the system. As you do so, you will find aspects of the system that provide significant enhancements over the old version of FamilySearch.org. We would like to inform you of two excellent webinars given in June 2012 that describe and demonstrate several of the features and helpful searching techniques of FamilySearch.org. These webinars are in two parts and can be viewed by clicking the following two links: Part I - Historical Records, IGI and Library Cataloghttp://broadcast.lds.org/eLearning/fhd/Community/en/FamilySearch/Product_Webinars/Robert_Kehrer_-_June_21_2012/Player.html Part II - Search Techniques and My Source Boxhttps://ldschurch1.adobeconnect.com/_a784618764/p8322mlykxf/?launcher=false&fcsContent=true&pbMode=normal Several features that were part of the pilot test were carried into the updated FamilySearch.org site. For more information on what's new at FamilySearch, click on the Blog at FamilySearch.org. Please be assured that we are working to address your concerns, and that a vast team of support agents are available to provide you with assistance. Help is also available in the Help Center of FamilySearch.org and from your local FamilySearch Center. Click the link below to learn more about adjusting to the new version of FamilySearch.org. Chapter 1 contains a quick reference table that explains where to find previous features on the updated site. I Received this and thought it might be helpful to those of you who use the family search site.
