After no luck using BMD's etc, I think it may be time to use Salvation Army in the search for my birth Mother. Just wondering what people's opinions, experiences are with Salvation Army?

SA wont be able to help you if you tell them she is your birth mother. They trace missing people. Although you can't find her, she isn't technically 'missing'

SA,do not undertake Adoption related searches, and they only rely on records that are publicly avaliable.

The most reliable search agency is NORCAP. They will also act as an intermediary between mother & child, which is far better for all concerned.

The are not cheap, but then they do a very good job well.
