You appear to have Ada Birks in your tree on here, so what information are you looking for?
Thanks

Suggest you get some certificates for more information.

Added:
2 other people have Harry, 1918, in their trees on here, but you have him 1921. Is your date accurate?

Hey yeah im looking for Ada Birks by the looks of it mothers maiden name Pratt.
I have got Hilda M Pratt married George Birks March 1919 Rochford Essex.
Im now looking into a Hodges/ Blackman wedding. I have deduced that they have had 3 children from sept 1913 but i cannot find the marriage.
This can be so frustrating.
Thanks everybody for your help!!

There is an Ancestry tree with Harry on - they have parents Alfred Hodges and Sarah Elizabeth Blackman.
They must be closely involved with this branch, as they have 2 photos of him.

Vivien,
The Ancestry tree found by Brummiejan says that Alfred Hodges married Sarah Elizabeth Blackman in 1904
However Sarah Elizabeth Blackman was a widow and married under her 1st husband's name of: BEEDEN.

The marrige between Sarah Elizabeth Blackman and Frederick Thomas Beeden is registered in Chatham, Kent 2 quarter 1899
The death of Frederick Thomas Beeden is registered in Medway, Kent, 4th quarter 1901

The marrige between Alfred Hodges and Sarah Elizabeth Beeden is registered in Medway Kent 1st quarter 1904

Apparently, Alfred and Sarah had 4 children.
3 sons and one daughter.
The tree has kept info on the daughter private

These free sites might be useful to you

http://www.freebmd.org.uk/ - transcribed BMD index. After Sep 1911 the mother's maiden name on birth records, and the other person's surname on marriages is shown.

http://www.freereg.org.uk/ - transcribed parish records

http://www.freecen.org.uk/ - transcribed census records

None of the above are complete, but a good place to start.

Sites for Essex and your area of Kent ......

http://cityark.medway.gov.uk/ - non indexed PR images for the Medway area. Its worth checking freereg first, which if your people are listed helps to narrow down your search.

http://seax.essexcc.gov.uk/EssexAncestors.asp - not free but worth it once you have the time and names to sit down and search for. £5 for 24 hours access. If you consider that a BM or D cert will cost £9.25 from GRO, this is a cheap alternative...........if the relevant church records are there.

The most useful free resource is https://www.familysearch.org/ transcribed PR and 1881 census + many other things. Beware of the 'submitted' records which although they may be correct, could also be the figment of someones's imagination. We all make mistakes at some point!

And of course.....the GR community! :-D
