thanks Derek but that is what I have always used and it has worked fine until this week - or maybe even last week as I was offline then.

Still does not work in firefox - new version with all the messages about cookies but works fine in internet explorer

Hi Ann.......try..FamilySearch.org..takes you straight to the main search page. \it's a bit clumsy when you're used to IGI..but actually it does give you more information.
You can narrow it down by searching batch numbers.......

sorry for the acknowlegment delay -bedtime calls earlier as I am in France at the moment

still will not work in firefox but just tried IE and that is fine???

Try clicking on Records.

My home page has the same info, but it is across the page, not down, and Records is highlighted and there are name boxes etc.

I knew the old version had disappeared but can't get the normal new version screen for searching

this is all I can get (1st part of screen)

My understanding is that the old version has disppeared and we are now left with new version which I must admit that I don't like.
