I have managed to put both sets of parents.
Just add one blood parent as second spouse to one adoptive parent or the other way about.Just explain in the notes.

I guess its how you see it .. Legally he became their child so if it was me I would do his adopted family tree. I might not "do" all the branches like I have for various saplings on my main tree but I do think his adopted family ie grandparents etc deserve to be recognized.

Its what i would do but each to his own :-D

Hi Zombie,
I did research the adoptive family of my grandfather, although at the time. I had no idea that they were not his biological family.
I am glad that I did, if only to prove to myself that there was no familial link between his birth and adoptive parents.

Also, last time I checked, there is no way to show both lines of parentage on a GR tree. The adoptive line is in my tree but I cannot to link them directly to my grandfather

just a question
just want to see what you lot would do

my dad was adopted [i do know who by ]
but i also know his real family

now i have gone back on the family tree as far as i can for his real family

what i want to know is would you do the adopted side of the family
