Hello David, I hope you come back to read this as you appear not to return to your other threads linked above.

For future reference, if you're thinking of posting a request for info on the boards the first thing to do is to go to the link called "My Threads" down the left side of these pages. Click on that and it will take you to any previous requests you have posted. If you have one that already relates to the same person/family then add your request to the bottom. If appropriate, you can go to the first post you made on the thread and click "edit" - that will then enable you to amend the heading (if needed) to reflect your updated request.

GR's rules are one thread per family as it helps us greatly to keep all info in one place. :-)

am trying to trace a thomas egan born bradford west yorkshire approx 1871 i have him in the 1901 census in prison on portland i can not trace him after that date tried the deaths no joy and tried 1911 census if any one has any ideas i would be most gratefull david hullah
