You won't find birth records - the GRO didn't come into being until July 1837

Maddie - Yes the 1851 Census above is him, however I believe he married a Harriet Mackaness in 1840...

Hi,

My great, great, great grandfather was a John Willmer, born around 1816-19 in Wymington Bedfordshire, he married Harriet and they had three children Elizabeth, Jos & Akin. I've been trying endlessly to trace Johns parents however to no avail. I would really really appreciate some help or information that could help me unlock the family further.
