I have just looked - the new tree does this differently to the old tree.. The old tree does your year of birth + or - 1 year so comes up with quite a lot. The new tree does exact year only. The number of results that come up in 'search trees' is different to the number shown in my box on tree. There we go - GR is unpredictable!

I have just tried it and it seems to be OK.

I have one record match, which is my own birth!! Well it would match, wouldn't it??

And 3 tree matches, all of which are contacts. I do have a very uncommon surname, though, so I wouldn't expect many matches.

I have just been looking on my tree, and it tells me LIES !!!

They tell me that there are supposed to be 9 matches for my name and year of birth, so I tried it and NO there is NOT another person with my DOB or with the same name
:-S ....plenty with my name but NOT any matches like GR tells me .
Now I was just curious as to who would have me in their tree ..!!

So I tried my sons name and again it told me there were X amount with the same DOB & same name .... but Alas NONE !!

Now what's going on here ?? anyone tried this ? :-(
