Yes I had seen this and have just exported my GEDCOM to ensure I have an uptodate Backup Copy. before I do anything else.

Have also removed my Subscription Auto Renewal.

I also sent some feedback on the New Tree earlier today and just received the reply:
"Thank you for taking the time to write to us.

I am sorry that you are not happy with the recent changes that we have made to the Genes Reunited tree.

We are currently receiving a lot of feedback and suggestions from our members so I will not reply to your points in detail but please accept my assurance that your email will be individually read by our Management team and will be taken into consideration as we work to continually enhance the website over the coming weeks and months."

Now I wonder why they are receiving so much feedback ........... ;-) ;-) ;-)

Oh dear!! Fortunately my tree and a full backup are off-line, but it will be interesting to see what happens next time I gedcom a file up.

If I start with myself and then move to my husband all his ancestors have disappeared and I am prompted to add them.  If I start with his mother and then move to his father all his ancestors are there.  I tried adding father in law again but then he turns up twice next to each other so I deleted the second one.  

Although I realise that progress is necessary I preferred the old tree with the exception of you couldn't successfully enter family that inter married.

Researching:
Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

OMG just realised, am so disappointed, I dont want or like this new tree. But all my 'comments' on family in the comments boxes are on here.....Gedcommed my tree to Tribalpages and the comments dont come up on there...I think. What a mess. :-( :-S
