Hi Bryan,

I think what the above poster, MarieCeleste, is trying to say is that since you have put up two identical posts on this subject, you will find that people have provided some answers on the other one :-)

I can see that you are a member who hasn't posted much, and you might be new to the boards, for that reason you may be unaware that we do try to stick to just putting up one post per question, otherwise what happens is that the members offering help might not see what has already been answered, and continue their searching. That, ultimately, would turn out to have been a waste of their time :-0

Might I suggest that the best thing for you to do is keep the other thread going (as that's the one containing answers and information), and delete his one.
You delete by going to the first posting/box (ie your own at the top) and deleting, then the whole thread will disappear ;-)

I am trying to trace the parents of my Grandfather Horace White who was registered in the 1881 Census as being an inmate in the Shoreditch Workhouse Kingsland Road. Any advice on where the record of his parents might be would be priceless!
