As you haven't given any clues about time-scale and location................how can we advise you?

If it's in England/Wales up to around 1950..........look for births on freebmd.....I assume you know the second wife's maiden name? Also whether she would have been of child-bearing age...........

Hi Reggie

I did not put info on here as i thought it was just for asking a question they married 1952

I do know her maiden name i will check on freebmd

Thanks for your help

Bear in mind that the name under which she married may not have been her maiden name.

Your grandfather had been married before..she could have been

The only way to have accurate info is to purchase the marriage cert

I know you were just asking a question.......but clues were needed. We can't give advice without some sort of basis on which to work

Year and country would have been sufficient

When you get the certificate - go to FreeBMD enter your grandfathers surname and his wife surname at time of marriage - enter the year they were married and hit search for births. You may be lucky and find something. I would personally go back a couple of years prior to marriage or enter the year 1st wife died. The reason I say this is my g/grandfather remarried less than a year after his 1st wife died and child born by 2nd wife before they were married.

Or else come back if you do not have Ancestry etc., subs and give names and they can be checked on there.
