Has anyone got access to the Electoral Register for Bilston please? I'm looking to see who was living at 44 French Building, Bank Street, Bilston between 1932 - 1937.

Many thanks,

Lou

I think you would have to contact the nearest large library to Bilston as these records are not on line. Contact the local studies/history officer for help. I have done this for Lincoln and they were very helpful. Some do it for free and others make a small charge.

Hi Jennifer, Many thanks for your offer.

I'm looking for any Baker's really. Hopefully at least Lily and Charles her son.

Thanks again x

Lou I'm sorry I looked in 1932 and the 1940 Kelly's Directory and there is no matching Baker. The ones in the book all had tel phone numbers which I suppose at that time you would have to be reasonably well off financially.

The electoral roll is your only chance and as it was organised by street and you have a time scale it shouldn't be too difficult to track down.

The Electral Role is not a subscription site but a "pay to veiw " site
