I want to have one last attempt to solve this mystery before I give up on it.

I’ve had excellent help from the genes community in the past and wonder if I might just be in luck again. Am I perhaps missing something that is right under my nose?

James Harvey, born Wilby, Suffolk, died 22 November 1841. His death was notified by his marred sister Charity Alum who lived in Athelington.
James wife Susannah Lucas remarried Thomas Aldous 1848 also in Wilby.
The children, Sarah Charles, Joshua, Ann, Harriot and Eprim, were home alone on census night. Alfred, b 1833, was not.
Alfred turns up with Ephraim on the 1851 census, living with Charles and Sarah in Norwich. That in itself is curious, I wonder if the children did not get on with their mothers new husband?

The missing trio were not in the Strabroke workhouse (1841 census) either.
No sign of any of the missing three on the 1841 Athelington census.
