in names i an researching in the mormon site , for the chilren i noticed with the batch no ,i have 4 children so for, in the numbers were ,, the 1st one was 104809-0 the 2nd one was 104809--1, the 3rd one was 104809--3 and the 4th one was 104809--5, does any know what these no are, would they mean that there are children in between, as the dates for the children are 1783, 1787, 1790, 1793, any ideas, cannie

Can you give us an example of one of the children you have looked up? - it's much easier if we can actually look at the record in context.

Right, I see what you mean.

I think the batch numbers just relate to the batch of images that are scanned together. I don't think they relate to individual records so a gap in batch numbers wouldn't mean there was children in the family missed.

I do not think they are batch numbers as we know it.
