it's sad isnt it, they has 6 children, but they were all married and some with children of their own before they died, it must have been awful to lose both parents on the same day.

I remember a report about twenty years ago where the father had died (in hospital I guess) and his children were on their way to tell their mother. When they arrived at the house, their mother had died too.

I'm not sure, i only just found out tonight! found the death for Joseph then looked up his will/probate record. then moved on to Lois , found her death, so looked to see if there was a will/probate record for her, and it was on the same page as Josephs, i will be ordering some certs very soon to find out what happened.

Died on the same day? How sad. Was it the shock of losing husband/wife that caused the second death?

Thanks Christina, i knew it would be the last name that had been mispelt, but i still could not find anything! that is definatley them as the address is what it was when they both died...weirdly enough they died on the same day!?!

Hi,
i was hoping somebody may be able to help me? i'm struggling to find a family in 1911.
Joseph Homer b.1881 Pendlebury (Salford Area) wife Lois b.1882. They married in 1906 in Swinton, Manchester. Their children are: Harold b.1907, Samuel b.1909 and Frank b.1910 all in Salford.
I have Joseph living with his parents in 1901 in Swinton, Manchester, his dad and siblings are still in Swinton in 1911, i just cant find Joseph! have been searching all day! can anyone help?
