What wonderful Photos.
No trees, very plain buildings, but clean, no litter!

Loved the crazy scaffolding , the authorities would have a fit today.

But always the hoards of curious children trying to get into shot.

Saw the exhibition of these photos on ITV London News at the weekend - great to see them on your link Chris, thank you so much.

The area featured now is very ' trendy' and would be completely unrecognizable to the inhabitants back then, who were mainly Jewish immigrants.
