I'm looking for any information on Samuel W Woodley.
He was my grandmother's first husband and we know nothing about him apart from the fact that he married Violet P Pound in 1943 at Totnes, Devon. They also had a daughter called Sheila F A Woodley in 1944.

Any information would be great.

Would like to know more about him and his family.

Thanks

Joy

I would suggest that you obtain his marriage certificate to Violet Pound first of all, then you will know his occupation, hopefully his age, his address, and the name and occupation of his father.

Searching in http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/ one can see his marriage registration:
September qr 1943 Totnes registration district.
