Is this a possibility? My father gave his body to medical science.He died in 1992 and my mother knew of his wishes. My brother and I didn't like the idea of not "giving him a send off" so secretly we arranged to have the remains cremated and we scattered his ashes in his birth town of Burntisland, Fife. We later told my Mother what we had done and she was delighted to be able to "visit" him.

I pop in to say "Hi" to him whenever i'm there.

Is it possible that he's buried with his family, in their plot ?

i have the same problem ..with my uncle ..he died in 2005 and was cremated but the ashes was never collected been given the under takers name and they say they didnt deal with with my uncles death ....the cemertry say hes was collected by the under takers ?????

My step grandfather died in 1940 in Enfield Hospital Middlesex he was collected from there and buried in Charlton Cemetery SE London.

presume its the local cemeteries to where he lived you have checked.

have you tried the local Council Parks & Cemeteries Dept of his home address to see if he is in a municipal cemetery

Hi Peter yes I have tried deceased on line and I have phoned all the cemeteries

Have you contacted the Cemeteries Dept at London Borough of Enfield? just in case you have missed out a cemetery?

I have tried to find where this person was buried
POOLE William 58 London C. 1c 9 1891
I have the death certificate and he died in St. Barts hospital
London. before he was in hospital he lived in Edmonton Middlesex I have been in touch with all local cemeteries
but can't find a burial. I f he was buried in the area he died
I don't where to look thankyou
