Is anyone currently offering look-ups of Electoral Registers???

I'm looking for a fairly recent (say, the last 5-10 years) name & address - hoping some kind person can help or point me in the right direction :-)
Or should I have posted this on Find Ancestors?

Start by looking at www.192.com to see if the names are recorded.

Many people (the sensible ones) withold their details from the public ER's

I,m afraid those records arent free you have to pay on www.192.com after an initial free search on a name

Thanks, both. Will take a look.

I was wondering if the lady who used to do ER look ups was still about/offering.

Assuming you think they are still living....

Put the names into www.livingrelativesearch.co.uk.
Any free result will give part of the address.

Go to 192.com and use that as where they live (+ the name)

You might get partial address and phone number which you could check out on www.thephonebook.bt.com which would give the full address. With thephonebook, less is more and you may need to only put the County or partial post code, then scroll through the names until one matches

Thank you, I didn't know about livingrelativesearch.
It is most unusual for me to look for living people, so I knew none of the above suggestions, thanks for the help.
