Advice please. Respecting the request not to ask about the same person twice, I added a additional request to an old thread, pressed submit, and thought it would appear on the Find Ancestors Board and have just found it here. Where have I gone wrong please?

If you added to an old thread that you had originally started on Genealogy chat, that´s where it will appear.
You could try posting on Find Ancestors to point out that your thread is on Genes chat.

Just to guide people to the thread:

If you add to a thread on Genealogy Chat it will stay there. I wouldn't worry, you have done the right thing.

I might try altering the heading to include 'new query' or something like that so people check it out.

Thank you both. I might just readjust what I've written and repost on Find Ancestors as although it links to an old thread it's about new people. Hopefully that will be ok.

If the new people link back to the previous query, it would be best to do as BrummieJan suggests

Oh wisechild, I'm now on both boards which I did before I read your message. I adapted my query as it was about people I hadn't asked about before. I haven't been a member for a couple of years and was only a member for a relatively short time before that so hope GR will forgive me in my ignorance!
