Hi Lucy

There are loads of people on here who will help you.
However we need a clearer understanding of what you mean

Have you found a person with a name match on another GR tree and you wish to see what info they have.
Click on the view button again the starred names - this opens a page of all the possible matches.
If you see a person who the think may have the same info, click on the 'Find out more' button again their name.
This will open a generic message to view their tree
It is more friendly if you change the words in the message box to explain who you are and why you want to see their tree
Most people will answer you one way or another and you can build up a dialogue.

If you don't get a reply check the mails in your sent box if you see the envelope icon against your sent message opened you will know they have read it.

Good luck

:-D

Hi Lucy and welcome to the boards

I only use other peoples trees as a possibility not a fact until I've completely researched the additional information to confirm it is correct. Anyone can make a mistake so better to check.

Also other people's trees are not source material so unless documentary proof is provided then someone elses tree is only supposition.
