Ancestry does have some wills on record (mainly if found they tend to be quite old), but in the main it is just the probate, which in some cases is no better than not finding a will as all it will tell you is who the executor(s) were, not how the estate was to be divided....

Found a will for an ancestor from early 1800's. Which then opened up new branches for 2 sisters.

The National Library of Wales provides free online access to digitised images of 190,000 Welsh wills dating up to 1858.

If it is The Genealogist then you can download the pre 1858 Prerogative Court of Canterbury Wills. As far as I am aware they are the only ones you can download the other references are will indexes.

Yes you can see A Will go to Ancestry ( hope it's not to cryptic)

Type in a name and it gives you dates and details of there Will

You can't see the info from a Will anywhere..............except by paying for a copy.

Hello,

Anyone on here using TG as well if so do you know how to how to few and save a will on TG I know on other sites but on TG it just gives a list of names and I cannot work out how to get the will info and save it to my tree
