Thanks folks for your interest & help.

This is the correct family on the 1901 census

They did acquire a Grandson Hedley son of unmarried daughter Mary.

I've had a look in the directories but being trade entries omits such as iron Puddlers & Iron workers.
I was hoping they would be in the Electoral Rolls for West Bromwich.
The search continues. David Timmins

I presume this is David and Mary J Timmins

Not sure with his occupation he would be on any register or directory

Have you looked at historicaldirectories

My Great Grandfather and his family moved up to Woodhouse, Sheffield from West Bromwich and I am trying to find when.

The 1881 census places the family in West Bromwich and on the 1891 census they are listed living in Woodhouse,Sheffield.

His last child a girl called Minnie was born in 1885 in West Bromwich and his wife is noted as caring for the sick in the Buck Croft area of Woodhouse in 1890.

So it would be safe to assume the family moved between 1885 to 1890.

Can anyone help please, maybe looking them up in the West Bromwich Directories or Electoral rolls although not too accurate, they would help to narrow it down.
Any help or advice appreciated. David Timmins
