Now I know on one search I found his registration as William Henry Willis Cook - so Daddy was Mr. Willis somewhere!

Of course, 14 months is more than one year.......so born early 1860

If you've been inputting his birthplace as per your post, that would explain why you couldn't find him

Have been hunting info on William Henry (known as Henry) Cook b. 1861 in Farlingdon, Berkshire for some time now.

Have found him on Familysearch - age 0, relationship to Head of house - g.son in FarlingTon, Berks but cannot find him in 61 census using Findmypast.

If I can find him it could answer a few questions.
