I cannot remember who my Father was looking for, or why, but he went to one of the local vicars for help. My Father is not a church goer, but the information was found. This was in the days before the internet.
So you could always try the personal approach.

Crockford's Clerical Directory, first published in 1858, contains biographies of over 27,000 Anglican clergy in the UK, details of English, Welsh and Irish benefices and churches and much more. This online version carries information that goes right back to 1968.

The 103rd edition of Crockford's Clerical Directory is now available to order from the Church House Publishing website.

The Church of England Yearbook 2014 is also available.

According to the National Archives website, there are no records of clergy available online.

If you Google there are lots of suggestions of places you could contact for info.

Does anyone know of any sites that will give me a list of ordained clery form about 1945 to about 1960.
