At top left, hit "search", and choose search all member trees.
Search for a name you think is in their tree.
You'll get a list of hits - some may look likely, and some are obviously referring to the wrong person. You can then click on the "Find out more" link and send them a message. This will be forwarded to the email addy that GR has on file for the tree owner, even if they're no longer an active member.

In the message, I would say how that person relates to you,and give enough info abt that person that they can recognize that you are talking abt the same person..

I've been told by someone on Genes a certain tree has some of has my family on it.
How do I contact the tree owner Please Thank You. (I only have Surname)
