The IGI is still there on Family search but it´s a bit of a faff to find it (under records)

It's listed under:
https://familysearch.org/search/collection/list#page=1®ion=UNITED_KINGDOM_IRELAND
but as you'll see, there's now much else at FS that's newer.
One can now also filter searches in the IGI by indexed (i.e., extracted) or contributed

It has always been called familysearch ( at least for the 13 years I've been using it)................it's the site run by the LDS
