Yes it does make sense - especially if it's a technical error as GR told me. Hopefully you'll get in touch with GR about this, if you haven't already done so.

I actually made contact with a member who had a certain name within their tree and they came back answering no such name in their tree. I doubled checked again and it was still showing i made contact with member who said she had searched her own tree again and couldnt find the mentioned person and also gave me permission to view her tree and myself couldnt find mentioned person.
- hope this makes sense

Yes this has happened to me on a couple of occasions. First with my parents - both dead and the same tree with both my husband and I on it. I contacted GR in March and they looked at the tree and told me the details weren't on it but it was a 'technical problem' that GR knew about. It's happened again in May and I've been in touch with GR and was told the same thing. I suggest you get in touch with GR and if more people who have this problem do the same perhaps they might make it a priority and sort it out!

Is it a living person or someone who's death has not been added in the last 120 years I think?. so will only show as 'Hidden' on the tree but will show up when you search for them

I just looked at a tree shared with me, which is one of the few that actually shares the same ancestors as myself.....there are so many hidden people, even going back to the turn of the century that I cannot work out where we are related

This as happened to me previously but can someone answer this

You search to see if any other members have names in their tree and you send them messages, and it comes back they dont have such named person in their tree and permission is even given to look and is it correct no named within their tree.

This as happened to me over the past few days and on previous occasion also.
