I trying to help my Howlettte cousins to trace their ancestors and from searching trees on here and Ancestry.com most people are having great difficulty too!

However I've traced my cousins family back to this family on the 1911 England Census living at 48 Thicknesse Ave, Wigan, Lancashire

My cousins remember visiting their Father's Uncle, Francis Hubert and wife Clarissa aka Cissie Howlette who lived at Elgin Avenue in Paddington London as they lived in Paddington too in the 1950's

My cousins' grandfather was Charles James Howlette born c.1898 in South Africa.

I've found Charles Howlett/e Snr's Army pension record and listed are his childrens names:

If anyone is descended from these Howlett/es above please contact me as you have many other relatives that you probably don't know about!

Like I've said before, Reggie not everyone keeps thier family tree on here but they might be members if not now, then maybe later on..

Plus my message will be in the internet so anyone researching the Howlett/e's will be able to see my message.

I don't have a tree on here (well a very small one with 50 people) so should anyone post about my family, then hopefully I would see it

I only have a very small basic tree on here too, but I do have Howlett g g grandparents from the London area but spread all over the world.
Have had a quick look (Ancestry access permitting) but can´t see any obvious link.
Having said that, they were an enormous family & I haven´t followed all the branches.
If it´s any help, mine seem to have originated in East Anglia, via Essex.

My Howlette cousins and their parents were from London too.

There are some trees on Ancestry who have some of my cousins' famies listed but they no longer subscribe to Ancestry unfortunately.

I've found some of my Howlette cousins, and reunited them with their other Howlette cousins too (my Mum's sister married into the Howlette's) and they gave up trying to trace their origins. A lot of my Howlette cousins were/ are now worldwide!

I haven't found any links with East Anglia, via Essex as yet, but you never know. LOL!

Just found Kirkpatrick Howlett (DOB quoted too) and daughter both residents of North Rodesia in 1955 visiting his brother Francis Hubert Howlett at 44 Elgin Ave, London

I've traced Francis Hubert Howlette & wife Clarissa aka Cissie on the London Electoral Registers living at the same address 1950-1965.

Kirtkpatrick Howlette comes over again in 1958 to the same address.
