Buying English wills

I would like to buy the will of my great uncle, to see who he gave all his money too (as I am since a nosy person), but I don't even know where to begin, or the price. Can somebody please tell me. :-D :-D :-D

You can apply using this form: http://hmctsformfinder.justice.gov.uk/courtfinder/forms/pa001s-eng.pdf

which has to be posted. The cost went up to £10 a few months ago. You must be able to give details of when and where he died.

If your great uncle died before 1966, Ancestry have probate details online.

Post his details if you don't have access, we can take a look for you

If the Will didn't go to Probate, no copy is available.

and the £10.00 fee does not get refunded
