Who owned the house?

I haven't any experience of tracing a house history, however, by googling Tracing a house history, a lot of results presented themselves.

I can't remember now who used to say 'google is your best friend' but it's true :-D

The question of who lived in a house is often asked, but how do I go about finding out who OWNED a house?

This would be end of 19th beginning of 20th century in Glamorganshire.

If we could find this out we MAY be able to sort out someones parentage and therefore get back a bit further back.

I don't have the address myself - this is for someone else.
