how do i find out who were the first professional football players to play for accrington Stanley ?
im looking for a william or billy no last name

just a family rumour one of the countries first professional football players was a member of my family named billy

i know its not a lot to go on but if i could get a list of the first ever pro team look for a billy n try trace his roots a bit just a thought i no its a bit out there

thats only info i have

he could be a gill thompson entwistle who knows it could all be rubbish but just want to look at the first game they played n the team
